Cabo Pulmo feels like Cabo back in the day with unspoiled beaches and rugged coastline, where cute desert burros roam the desert hills.

7. Check out Fox Canyon
Fox Canyon is a hidden gem of Cabo San Lucas that makes a perfect break from Cabo’s beaches. The scenic desert canyon has a short hike culminating with a waterfall and a stunning emerald-green pool where you can take a refreshing swim.
It’s a gorgeous and tranquil spot, so bring your camera. And don’t forget your water bottle, because you can get dehydrated very quickly when hiking in Cabo.

I visited Cabo in March, and although spring break crowds weren’t too bad, I can see why some travelers steer clear ofvisiting Cabo during this month. If you aren’t into sharing beaches and bars with rowdy spring breakers, visit Cabo in April, when temperatures are slightly warmer, and college crowds are gone.
2. Bring layers
Although Cabo’s weather in March is comfortable during the day, temperatures can plunge by night. If you plan on taking early-morning tours or sunset sailing cruises in Cabo, pack layers, because it will be chilly once the sun goes down.

3. Wear sunscreen
Although Cabo’s temperatures are pretty mild in March, it’s not hard to get a sunburn. Whenever you plan to spend time outside, always put on reef-safe sunscreen that can protect you without harming the marine wildlife, especially if you are going swimming or snorkeling.
